General Booking Terms and Conditions
Booking and Confirmations When making a booking your name, address, arrival- and departure time and method of payment are required. A booking is binding once it has been confirmed in verbal or written form. The hotel is entitled to apply additional rules in order to secure the reservation, such as a reservation fee or a credit card guarantee.Only a person over the age of 18 is allowed to make a reservation and minors need to be companied by an adult during the stay.If you wish to bring a pet with you, please make this clear at the time of booking. Only some of our rooms are suitable for pets and additional fees apply to pets staying with you. The hotel is entitled to cancel the reservation is pet-friendly rooms are not available.
Arrival and DepartureThe hotel room is at your disposal from 2:00 pm on the day of arrival. On your departure day the room must be vacated by 12:00 noon.
Cancelation and no Arrival Non-prepaid reservations can be cancelled free of charge, if notified directly to the hotel 1 day prior to the arrival date by 2pm. Cancelations and changes must be notified directly to the hotel via email or by telephone.Cancellations on non-prepaid reservation notified after 1 day prior to the arrival will result in charging the full rate of the first night. Prepaid reservations may have special conditions attached to the rate.Cancellation rules vary depending on the rate at which you made your booking.In the event of force majeure or other causes not attributable to hotel (e.g., fire or water damage), the company is entitled to cancel the reservation. In these cases, the customer has the right to a full refund of any paid sum.
Early Departure Early departure before the agreed day must be informed to the hotel latest by 4:00 pm on the day before. Otherwise, you will be charged for an extra night. In a prepaid reservation early departure does not affect the price of the accommodation.
Payment The hotel accepts cash payments in euros and the most commonly used credit/debit cards. The hotel is not obliged to accept foreign currency, vouchers, cheques or credit/debit cards unless the hotel has volunteered to do so.When reserving a room, the hotel is entitled to approve and charge international credit/debit cards. A reservation fee may be charged to the credit card as a prepayment or as on authorization for the stay. This will be deducted from the final bill. In case the reservation has not been paid in advance, it should be settled upon arrival at the hotel by cash or credit card.In case booking or reservation fees agreed upon booking have not been paid on time, the hotel has the right to unilaterally cancel the booking.The hotel is entitled to charge a cover reservation or a deposit upon arrival. Credit card used for guaranteeing/ paying the stay may also be used for charging any incurred costs (damages, non-reported purchases) noticed post checkout.
Guest’s Responsibility on Damages As a guest you are responsible for damage caused on purpose or by accident by you, your guest or your pet in the hotel room or in hotel premises. This applies also to the hotel furniture and other equipment, other guests in the hotel or their property. The responsibility for caused damage is determined by general principles.
Responsibility on Your Valuables The hotel can store your valuables upon request. The hotel is entitled to collect a charge for storage of these items. The hotel is also entitled to refuse to store your valuable based on the availability of a suitable storage service. In case the items you wish to store are exceptionally valuable you must notify the hotel before storing.The hotel is not responsible for your property stored in your room or valuables stored in a safety deposit box in your room.
